A session is a container that groups related trades — usually by market and date range. Sessions keep your journal organized and let you filter the Dashboard and Analytics to one block of trading at a time.

Ways to create a session
From the Sessions page, start a new session and fill in the required fields
During an import — your imported trades are grouped into a session
From the replayer, when you save trades captured while replaying
Replay sessions vs journal sessions
A journal session simply groups trades. There is no limit on how many you can have.
A replay session is a workspace for replaying historical candles. The number of simultaneous replay sessions and the replay data window depend on your plan.
Deleting a replay session does not delete the trades you captured — those stay in your journal.
Tip: keep sessions meaningful (one market and a clear date range) so your Analytics breakdowns stay easy to read.
