Your first Analytics breakdown
Use the Configurator tab to break performance down by setup, scope it with filters, then save it as a preset.
Open
/analytics. Analytics has four tabs — Configurator, Advanced, Engine, and News. Start on Configurator("Core & Strategy Breakdowns"); it's the fastest way to see where your edge actually is.Walkthrough
1Scope your data with the side panel
- The left side panel is your filter. Under Data Scope pick the sessions, a market, result (Win/Lose/BE), and side (Buy/Sell) you want included.
- Core Filters let you include or exclude specific setups, liquidities, and tags; Date Range narrows by date, time, and weekday.
- The four KPI cards at the top — Total Trades, Wins, Win Rate, Total RR — update live as you filter.
2Read the breakdown tables
- Below the KPIs is a row of breakdown tabs: By Setup, By Weekday, By Liquidity, By Buy/Sell, By Tag. Each shows its own stats table; the badge on each tab is its row count.
- Start with By Setup — it answers the first question every trader has: which of my setups actually makes money?
- The Strategy Breakdowns grid lower down holds secondary tables; hidden ones can be re-enabled with the eye icon.
TIP
Comparing two setups? Read win rate and total RR together. A setup with a lower win rate but higher RR can still be your most profitable — that's exactly the kind of thing this view surfaces.
3Save it as a preset
- Once a view is useful, save it. Open the save dialog (Save as Preset), give it a name like "Weekly performance by setup".
- The dialog previews what's captured — your views, filtered markets, sessions, and filters. Click Save Preset.
- The preset stores your whole filter + breakdown configuration, so you reopen it in one click later.
Where to go next
- Advanced, Engine, and News tabs go deeper — verbose filters, rule-based queries, and economic-event overlays. Dedicated tutorials for those are coming.
- Want to study individual trades visually? See Replaying a session.
